Plumber Assistant
Plumbing Assistant will support the team of plumbers in providing quality plumbing services to our clients. The Plumbing Assistant will assist in various tasks related to installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential and commercial buildings. This role is ideal for individuals who are interested in learning and developing their skills in the plumbing trade.
Responsibilities:
- Assists plumbers in installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, fittings, and appliances.
- Carries tools, equipment, and materials to job sites and assist with setting up work areas.
- Digs trenches and holes as needed to access plumbing lines and fixtures.
- Assists in cutting, bending, and assembling pipes and fittings.
- Cleans work areas and dispose of debris and waste materials.
- Learns how to use plumbing tools and equipment under the guidance of experienced plumbers.
- Performs basic plumbing tasks, such as cleaning drains, replacing washers, and installing fixtures, under supervision.
- Follows safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe work environment.
- Assists with maintaining accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Required: High School Diploma or course Certificate in Plumbing
- Preferred: 2+ years of experience in plumbing repair for residencies and restaurants
- Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, and equipment.
- No prior experience required;
- Willingness to learn and develop skills in the plumbing field.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and precision in work.
